MORE PRESSURE

The Welshman who became the world’s most expensive player when he signed for Real Madrid back in September and spent 6 years of his career in Tottenham Hotspur revealed that he felt more pressure playing in the Premier League with Spurs than in Real Madrid.
The former Tottenham player praised the playing style and system that Real Madrid utilizes and spoke about how different it is from his former club Tottenham.
“At Tottenham I was always trying to get onto the ball and make everything tick, whereas here everybody’s doing that, there are world-class players all around the pitch and you’re able to concentrate just on your game rather than bringing the whole team forward, and I’m enjoying that.” he told the Daily Telegraph

“There are world-class players all around the pitch and you’re able to concentrate just on your game rather than bringing the whole team forward and I’m enjoying that’’.

“They lead by example. If you ever want to talk to them they’re always there to listen. It’s great to play alongside them because they’re world-class players too’’.

When playing in Tottenham, Bale was one of the main playmakers of the team and in order for them to create any real goal-scoring chances, most of the time it was reliant on what he would create for the team but now in Real Madrid it’s completely different as the entire squad has world class players in each position and they don’t have to rely solely on what Gareth Bale does.

The heart and soul of Real Madrid is C.Ronaldo and this gives breathing space for Bale and with a team that has nothing but some of the best players in the world, the responsibilities that the Welshman has in the team are diminished.
