Congratulations to Jessica Lambrecht and Collen Murphy on being chosen for as 2010 Joan Judd Scholarship winners, sponsored by the USA League. Jessica and Colleen played on the VAYSA u18 Girls Region Cup Champions and the u18 President's Cup Runner-up teams. The last two years the two young ladies also played on the Venice High School Girls Soccer Team that won their District in back-to-back years, the first time in school history.

The 2010 Summer Development Academy is designed to help your child improve their soccer skills. The training sessions will highly organized and instructional. The SDA will be taught by Peter Tomich, has trained 100’s of kids over the course of 20+ years and is regarded as one of the top trainers and coaches in Sarasota County. Registration for the 2010 Spring Recreational Soccer season will begin on January 18th and run through Feburary 22nd. Registration will be done through the YMCA online registration system, or in person at the YMCA, which is located at 701 Center Road in Venice, FL.
